Sacher Torte (10“)
Our heart-shaped Sacher Torte (10“) is a classic European chocolate cake, baked especially for Valentine’s Day and finished using a traditional, time-honored method.
Two layers of rich chocolate cake are filled with rum-infused apricot jam, adding warmth and depth to the chocolate. The entire cake is then carefully coated in apricot jam and allowed to rest before being finished with a stiff, semi-sweet chocolate ganache, creating the smooth, elegant finish Sacher is known for.
The result is a beautifully balanced cake — not overly sweet, deeply chocolatey, with subtle fruit and rum notes that develop as the cake rests. This process takes time and patience, but it’s what gives the Sacher its distinctive character and refined texture.
Designed as a Valentine’s centerpiece, this cake is perfect for sharing and celebrating special moments.
