Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using www.oma-gisis-german-bakery.com (“Site”) operated by Oma Gisi’s German Bakery (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing the Site or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase on our Site.

2. Products & Descriptions

We sell handcrafted German baked goods, including cookies, pastries, breads, and seasonal items.

We make every reasonable effort to display product details accurately; however:

  • Sizes, weights, and appearance may vary slightly

  • Photos are for representation only

  • All items are made in small batches

3. Orders & Payment

All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including:

  • Suspected fraud

  • Incorrect pricing

  • Product unavailability

4. Shipping

  • We ship only within the lower 48 United States.

  • Shipping dates provided are estimates and not guaranteed.

  • Orders are shipped in the order they are received.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or incorrect addresses.

5. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Because our products are perishable, the following policies apply:

5.1 All Sales Are Final

We do not accept returns on baked goods.

5.2 Refunds

Refunds are only issued if:

  • An order was not shipped

  • The product arrived damaged due to packaging failure

  • We made an error (incorrect item sent)

Photos may be required for verification.

5.3 Cancellations

Orders may be canceled only before they are shipped. Once an order is shipped, it cannot be canceled or refunded.

These policies reflect standard practices in the baked goods and perishable products industry.

6. Customer Accounts

Customers may create accounts for faster checkout.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information.

7. Allergens

Our baked goods may contain:

  • Wheat

  • Dairy

  • Eggs

  • Nuts (including pecans and hazelnuts)

We are not liable for allergic reactions. Customers must review product ingredients before ordering.

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Delays in shipping

  • Acts of carriers

  • Misuse of products

  • Website outages or errors

  • Indirect or consequential damages

Your remedies are limited to the refund policies listed above.
